Drawings Section

The first investigative tool is drawing, which opens direct access to areas of imagination and feeling.

They are divided here between drawings that are to be seen as autonomous works in themselves, and working drawings. The latter are variously investigative for paintings and sculpture. However, in reality there are no hard and fast barriers between groups of drawings or any other work, but only a shifting and strange border country of the practicable and the imagined.
